Frequently Asked Questions.
Get quick answers about our retail hardware ecosystem.
What is the warranty period for your hardware products?
Warranty is set by product category rather than by a single figure. Touch screen POS terminals carry 12 months as standard, with selected terminal lines at 24 months. Barcode scanners carry 24 months and receipt and label printers carry 12 months. KDS units, industrial mini PCs and self-service kiosks carry 24 months of service coverage: 12 months of warranty, then repair at parts cost through month 24 with labor included. ESL tags carry 3 years. Extended warranty contracts run to 3 or 5 years. High-volume enterprise customers can negotiate custom warranty terms including on-site replacement options.
Are your POS systems compatible with my existing retail software?
Yes. We design TillNode hardware with open architecture principles. Our POS terminals run on Windows or Android platforms, supporting industry-standard peripherals via USB, Ethernet, and Bluetooth. We provide SDKs and driver packages for smooth integration with popular retail management systems like Square, Lightspeed, and custom in-house software.
How does Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) technology work?
ESL tags use e-ink displays (similar to e-readers) which consume minimal power and remain readable in all lighting conditions. A central gateway communicates with tags via 2.4GHz wireless protocol. When prices change in your inventory system, the gateway pushes updates to relevant tags within seconds. Battery life typically exceeds 5 years, and the system supports bulk updates for promotional events.
What minimum order quantity (MOQ) do you require?
For standard catalog products, there is no MOQ—you can order single units for testing or small deployments. Appearance-only branding — logo printing, packaging, boot screen — starts at 50 units. Structural or tooling changes are quoted per project, because the tooling cost rather than the unit count sets that floor. Volume discounts begin at 10+ units for standard items and 50+ for branded configurations.
Do you provide technical support and training?
Absolutely. All hardware purchases include access to our technical documentation portal and email support. For enterprise deployments, we offer on-site training, remote installation assistance, and dedicated account management. Software integration support (SDK implementation, API troubleshooting) is available through tiered service packages.
Can I see product samples before committing to a large order?
Yes, we encourage testing before deployment. You can purchase sample units at regular price or arrange them through our evaluation program for qualified businesses planning significant rollouts. For custom OEM projects, we provide pre-production samples for approval before mass manufacturing begins. Contact our sales team to arrange sample procurement.
