Android 15 — why does the version matter?

It is the newest Android on any tablet in this range; the R18 and U10 ship Android 13. That is a longer security-patch runway and the newer APIs, which matters when your MDM policy pins a minimum OS level for the fleet.
No cameras — is that deliberate?

Yes. The U1095 lists cameras as none and ships enterprise security compliant, which is what a site with a camera ban — a bank branch, a lab, a secure stockroom — needs in writing. If a site needs imaging, the R18 carries front 5MP and rear 8MP.
509 g on a 10.95-inch body — how?

An aluminum alloy chassis at 7.6 mm. It is lighter than the 10.1-inch U10 at 552 g despite the larger screen, which is the difference a cashier feels at the end of a shift on a handheld mount.
What panel and bonding does it use?

A 10.95-inch FHD 1200 × 1920 panel with COF bonding and G+FF touch. COF moves the driver off the glass edge, which is how the body stays at 168 mm wide with a 10.95-inch screen.
What is the battery setup?

6,000 mAh in the tablet over Type-C 5V/2A, plus 10,000 mAh in the aluminum desktop dock. The tablet capacity is the largest in the range, so a full shift away from the dock is realistic.
What docking options exist?

An aluminum desktop base with a 10,000 mAh battery built in, or a plastic 86-box wall mount fed by 220V AC or 48V POE. Both are optional, so a deployment can order tablets first and docks per site.
