Which operating systems do TillNode kiosks support?

Both major platforms, natively. Android 11/12/13 on Rockchip platforms (RK3288 through RK3568), and Windows 10/11 Pro or IoT Enterprise on Intel platforms from Celeron to Core i7. Android is the typical choice for dedicated self-ordering and information duty; Windows is the choice when your kiosk software requires legacy POS drivers, .NET stacks, or specific peripheral SDKs.

Can I run my own kiosk software?

Yes — that is the point. Our kiosks are unbranded, software-agnostic terminals. Install your own application, a third-party kiosk software platform, or a web-based frontend. We provide SDKs, ESC/POS printer support, and driver packages; we do not require any cloud subscription of ours.

What is the difference between a self-ordering kiosk and a self-checkout kiosk?

A self-ordering kiosk captures the order before payment — browse, customize, pay, get a receipt or kitchen ticket (SN-K1, SN-K6). A self-checkout kiosk or self checkout machine replicates a cashier lane: the customer scans items themselves, bags, and pays — common in retail and convenience (typically built on scanner-and-printer-integrated units). Because payment certification varies by country and processor, we integrate your chosen terminal model rather than locking you into one acquiring ecosystem.

What is the minimum order quantity and lead time?

Sample units and small evaluation batches start at 1 piece — we would rather you test in the field than take our word for it.
