220 mm/s at 203 dpi on 80 mm paper, and the head carries a 100 km rating. That rating is the number that sets your spares plan: at 150 m a day it is roughly two years of paper, at 800 m a day it is about four months. Ask for the daily metreage before accepting any head-life figure as adequate.
USB and Ethernet as standard, Bluetooth if the lane is a tablet
USB and Ethernet are fitted and Bluetooth is an option, so the same SKU serves a wired lane and a tablet lane. It also prints 1D and 2D symbols — UPC-A/E, EAN-13/8, Code 39/93/128, ITF, Codabar, QR and PDF417 — so a coupon strip or a QR code on the receipt does not need a second device or a pre-printed roll.
A cutter rated for 1.5 million cuts, on an 83 mm roll
The auto-cutter does full and partial cuts and is rated for 1.5 million operations. Compare that when two quotes look identical: a cutter that gives up at 300,000 cuts costs more in downtime at a live till than the price gap on the invoice. The cradle takes an 83 mm roll, so a shift change is one paper swap rather than three.
