SN-P60 FAQ

6 questions buyers ask before ordering.

What separates the SN-P60 from the SN-P20?

+

The construction. The SN-P20 carries its mainboard in the base stand behind a concealed interface cover, so every cable runs inside the stand and the board sheds heat from there; the SN-P60 is the fanless ultra-thin build, with the aluminum chassis acting as the heatsink and no fan at all. Screen, processor list, memory range and port set match, so the decision comes down to counter depth against cable concealment and thermal headroom.

Does the thin body cost me ports?

+

No. Both models carry the same expansion list: USB, RS232, HDMI, VGA, LAN and RJ11. A cash drawer, a scale, a second monitor and a wired network all still land on the unit.

Why pay for an aluminum chassis rather than a plastic housing?

+

The thin body is the point. A slim chassis returns counter depth, which matters on a shallow service point, a kiosk face, or a counter that also has to hold a scale. The aluminum chassis carries the thinness without the housing flexing, and it spreads board heat across the surface instead of trapping it behind the panel.

Which processor do I get on each platform?

+

Intel Celeron J6412, Core i3 or Core i5 on Windows, and Rockchip RK3568, RK3588 or RK3576 on Android. The same page lists Windows 10/11, Windows 10 IoT, Windows 11 IoT LTSC 2025 and Linux, so a Linux deployment specifies against the Intel side.

Can it drive a customer-facing screen as well?

+

The main panel is a 15.6-inch FHD touchscreen at 1920 × 1080 and the secondary display is optional at 15.6 or 11.6 inches. Order the secondary screen with the terminal — it is a configuration item, not an aftermarket add-on.

How much memory and storage does it take?

+

4GB, 8GB or 16GB of DDR4 SO-DIMM and a 64GB, 128GB or 256GB M.2 NVMe SSD, the same envelope as the SN-P20. Because the two models share the panel, the silicon and the storage range, a fleet that runs both keeps one spares pool and one image per processor.
